Perfect base for Loire canoeing
I don’t usually post about individual campsites, but this spacious one just upstream of Beaugency bridge deserves the exception; an eleven out of ten. Click here for the official site.

Super clean toilets and free hot showers.
The friendly barman speaks excellent English
The groundsman loves his job.
The goats praise God by being goats
Many other lovely touches
A few static tents
And loads of space, no unnecessary nonsense, and Beaugency over the bridge is lovely.
